Redefining Wealth: It’s More Than Just Money

If you are reading this to learn about the old money concept or the habits of rich people, sorry to disappoint. This article is not about the material aspects of money nor do I talk about the money culture.

Do not get me wrong, I am aware of the importance of money. The simplest definition for money that I can think of is that it’s a tool that makes a person feel more free. And who does not want that?

But we often measure wealth with money and, more money is not wealth.

I am here to question the true essence of wealth and how can we be more wealthy. (Spoiler: The answer is not money or making more money)

What is the true essence of wealth?

At its core, I believe wealth is a collection of meaningful moments.

Like the moments we have when we decide to trust in the universe and ourselves with a sense of gratitude.

I do not think those moments need to be significant bucket list check moments. They are simple parts of our daily lives. We have them daily. When we laugh, make someone we love laugh, visit a place we wanted to see for a long time, feel the cold air, think with trust, hug a loved one, remember how healthy we are, forget to look at our phones in a conversation, dream, believe, foster meaningful connections…
